Optimized TEM Horn Impulse Receiving Antenna

1997
Impulse receiving antennas are usually designed for ultra-wideband applications involving high-fidelity sensing of incident impulsive electromagnetic fields. These antennas may be utilized in advanced radar and information warfare systems, such as in the receive portion of impulse radar systems, or as stand-alone sensors for ultra-wideband direction finding. Impulse receiving antennas can also be used for measurement of field strength and waveform type being produced by high-power microwave sources or by natural and man-made EMP generators.
