DATA ACQUISITION SYSTEM FOR DIAGNOSTICS OF MANUFACTURING SYSTEM OPERATIONAL STATES

One of the most important motivating factors for development of non-destructive diagnostic methods is rationalization of production. The original data acquisition system realized at the Department of manufacturing systems operation of the Technical University in Kosice with seat in Presov is described in this article. The system was constructed on the modular platform NI CompactDAQ with emphasis laid on a universality allowing wide variety of possibilities to acquire and process the physical quantities. Processing and evaluation of the signals performed using variety of functions comprised e.g. in LabVIEW Sound and Vibration Module is also described.
