Immune status of workers at a hydrolysis yeast plant

1998
: The clinical and immunologic study involving a complex of immunologic parameters covered 52 workers of yeasting hydrolysis production. The results are--depression of cellular immunity with modified T-cellular membranes; inhibited phagocytic activity of neutrophils and increased expression of E-receptors; disbalanced saliva immune factors; sensibilization to fungus producing hydrolysis yeast. The study revealed immune features varying with degree of exposure to the occupational materials, with length of service and health state of the examinees. Those features could be valuable for arrangement of prophylactic measures.
