Inclusive particle spectra in processes of fragmentation of light ions

The theory of diffraction dissociation and stripping is extended to nuclei with small binding energy with respect to breakup into two clusters. The cross sections calculated in the present formalism are compared with the experimental data obtained in the reactions of fragmentation of deuterons and /sup 3/He and /sup 6/Li ions in a wide range of incident-particle energies and nuclear mass numbers.
