LED Industry is one of the strategic emerging industries of Tianjin. The quality of patents represents the technological superiority,so it is crucial to the rapid growth of Tianjin LED industry. Applying patent bibliometrics,this article analyses the application status,technol technology life cycle and technical field of LED patents in Tianjin. Then,it excavates deeply the development features of patents. And it puts forward countermeasures to promote the quality and level of patents for Tianjin LED industry.
