Process for preparing glenoid fossa with bionic cartilage layer

2013
The invention discloses a process for preparing glenoid fossa with a bionic cartilage layer and belongs to bionic implant materials. The bionic cartilage material layer is combined with the surface of an artificial joint material by employing the in-situ chemical crosslinking mode, and the bionic preparation of the glenoid fossa with the bionic cartilage layer is realized. The material comprises a dichromic acid oxidizing solution, a bionic cartilage material, a grafting solution and a hard-faced substrate, wherein the dichromic acid oxidizing solution comprises 20 percent of potassium dichromate and 80 percent of concentrated sulfuric acid; the bionic cartilage material comprises 15 percent of polyvinyl alcohol, 82 percent of deionized water and 3 percent of nano-hydroxyapatite; the grafting solution comprises 7 percent of polyvinyl alcohol, 1.5 percent of concentrated sulfuric acid and 91.5 percent of deionized water; the hard-faced substrate comprises ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene glenoid fossa; the purity of the polyvinyl alcohol is more than or equal to 99 percent; the potassium dichromate is at the analytically pure grade; the concentrated sulfuric acid is at the 98 mass percent grade; and the percent of the substances refers to mass percent. The process has the advantages that the function of cartilage is replaced, wear and looseness are difficultly caused, the interface lubricating property is high, and the biological activity is sufficient.
