State-of-the-art Research Development of Rail Vehicles Crashworthiness

The state-of-the-art researches of rail vehicles crashworthiness at home and abroad were reviewed.The main methods of train collision researching and the existing problems were discussed.The design and evaluation standards for vehicles of crashworthiness were expounded.The studies show that there exists a big gap between China and abroad in rail vehicle crashworthiness safety technology research,in our country further in-depth research work should be carried out in respect of the relationship between train collision response,and car body structure safety,train collision test standards and test equipment and train derailing mechanism after train collision,and the train crashworthiness standards need to be formulated in line with the actual conditions of our country.
