Influence of spatial limitation of light beams in an unstable resonator containing a randomly inhomogeneous medium on the coherence function of a laser radiation field

1986
An analysis is made of the problem of determination of the coherence function of a field in an unstable resonator formed by mirrors of finite dimensions and containing a randomly inhomogeneous medium (considered using the phase screen model). A solution is obtained for a strongly inhomogeneous medium and an analysis is made of the influence of spatial limitation of light beams on the losses and angular characteristics of the output radiation of an unstable resonator.
