Webapplications arebecoming increasingly complex andimportant forcompanies. Theirdevelopment, including analysis, design, andtesting, needs tobeapproached bymeans ofsupport tools. Therearesometools provided tosupport analysis anddesign. However, fewtools areprovided todirectly support thesoftware testing onWeb-based applications. Inthis paper, a software tool, namedWASATT (WebApplication Scenario Automated Testing Tool), isproposed tosupport the automated testing forscenario ofweb-based applications. Testers cancreate oraskanalyst tocreate extended activity diagram model, whichextends thesemantics ofUML standard activity diagram andcanprecisely express functional scenario of webapplications. Thentheextended activity diagram modelcan betransformed totesting codebased onHttpUnit byWASATT. Thetool canelevate theautomated level offunctional testing for webapplications.
