Two-Stage Energy Recovery System for THz band Double-Beam Gyrotron

In this paper, the theoretical consideration of possibilities of two-stage energy recovery systems in double beam gyrotron is presented. Specific features of energy spectra for two beams after the interaction with RF field are discussed. As an example the double beam 0.79 THz CW gyrotron is considered. The mentioned tube is planned to be used as a powerful radiation source for a high-field DNP-NMR spectroscopy.
