IMPLEMENTAÇÃO DE UM SISTEMA DE COLETA SELETIVA INTELIGENTE CAPAZ DE RECONHECER O MATERIAL A SER DESCARTADO E INDICAR A LIXEIRA CORRETA

The image recognition, such as objects andpeople, is a trivial and easy work when made by human, butwhen delegated to a computer system proves very difficultand complex. The use of computing resources from the areassuch as artificial intelligence and digital image processinghave facilitated the implementation of systems more robustand intelligent. This project aims at automatic recognition ofplates of motor vehicles to control the access of them in aprivate parking. The implementation will use Matlab forprocessing and image recognition plate. The system will beable to locate all the characters board the vehicle and latertaken to the processing of this image, recognize or notallowing access to parking, by comparing the processedimage is a database of plates allowed access.Index Terms ⎯ artificial intelligence, computer system,image recognition, Matlab.
