Analysis of Annexin II gene expression in lung cancer tissue

Objective To analyze the expression of Annexin Ⅱ mRNA in lung cancer tissue and tumor-adjacent normal tissue.Methods The total RNA was isolated from 10 cases of human lung cancer tissue and 5 cases of tumor-adjacent normal tissue.AnnexinⅡand β-actin were amplified by polymerase chain reaction(PCR)after the RNA was reversely transcripted into cDNA.The electrophoresis band opacity density(OD)method was used to measure the expression of Annexin Ⅱ mRNA.Result The mRNA expression of Annexin Ⅱ in lung cancer tissue was significantly higher than that in tumor-adjacent normal tissue(P0.05).Conclusion The result showed that increased expression of Annexin Ⅱ might be important in the malignant transformation and the development of lung cancer.
