The invention discloses an elevator capable of utilizing solar energy and recovered electrical energy, comprising an elevator power supply source and an elevator electrical control system, wherein the elevator power supply source is equipped with a commercial power input terminal and a power source output terminal and is provided with a storage battery, a solar photovoltaic cell and an electrical energy recovery module, wherein the output terminal of the solar photovoltaic cell is connected with the charging terminal of the storage battery, the output terminal of the electrical energy recovery module is connected with the charging terminal of the storage battery; the output terminal of the storage battery is connected with an inverter and is further connected with the output terminal of the power source by the inverter, and the direct current output by the storage battery is changed into alternating current by the inversion of the inverter and then is output by the output terminal of the power source. The solar photovoltaic cell and the electrical energy recovery module are arranged in the elevator power supply source in the invention which can fully utilize solar energy and the electrical energy generated in generating operation of the elevator to provide electrical energy for elevator operation, thus improving energy saving and environment performance of the elevator.
