Multi-layer sausage casing of three adjacent layers based on polyamide

Described is a multilayer, biaxially stretched tubular film having at least five layers, of which the outer and two subsequent layers to 50 wt .-% or more consist of at least one aliphatic (co) polyamide, but are differently composed thereby. The tubular film is generally prepared by coextrusion and is therefore seamless. it can be used as a food casing, in particular as artificial sausage casing.
