Self-expanding stent made of a titanium alloy

1997
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a stent which is formed of a material having intermediate strength and relatively small modulus of elasticity in order to make the application range of the stent wider. SOLUTION: This stent is an embeddable medical treatment device 10 consisting of a structure which is tubular, compressible in a diametral direction, flexible in an axial direction and self-expandable in the diametral direction and is provided with at least one long-sized filaments 12. The filaments 12 consist of titanium or titanium alloy and contains at least about 68wt.% titanium. COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
