Research on Laser Diode Array PumpedQ-Switched Self-frequency-doubled NYAB Laser

Experiment and theoretical results of a LDA pumped, Q -switched, self-frequency-doubled NYBA laser are reported. With 400mW pumping power and the Q-switching at 16kHz repetition rate, an average output power of 6mW at 0. 53μm was achieved. The pulse-width at 0. 53μm is 25ns, and a peak output power at 0. 53μm of 20W is obtained at the Q -switching repetition rate of 100Hz. The experimental results are in agreement with theoretical predictions.
