Epidemiological characteristics of kindergarten infectious diseases in Zunyi during 2007-2011

Objective To study epidemiology characteristics of kindergarten infectious disease in 2007-2011 in Zunyi,to provide a scientific basis for preschools infectious disease prevention and control measures.Methods Descriptive epidemiological method was used to analyse the statutory of kindergarten infectious diseases in 2007-2011 in Zunyi.Results There were 19 kinds of infectious diseases,including 6 872 cases,the average annual incidence rate was 926.89 /100 000 in kindergarten in Zunyi during 2007-2011.The class B infectious diseases were 13 kinds,548 cases(7.97%),average annual incidence rate was 73.91 /100 000.The class C infectious diseases were 6 kinds,6 324 cases(92.03%).The average incidence rate was 852.97 /100 000.The top five diseases were hand-foot-mouth disease(3 585 cases),mumps(2 414 cases),other infectious diarrhea(193 cases),dysentery(158 cases),rubella(100 cases).March-July and September-December months were the peak incidence.Conclusion There is an increase trend year by year about the incidence of infectious diseases of kindergarten in Zunyi.What's more,hand-footmouth disease and mumps should be pay more attention to prevent and control.
