Modelo de simulación del perfil de cesio 137 para cuantificar el depósito de suelo

In areas where there exist a strong dynamic of soil redistribution it is important to apply models to estimate the rates of soil movement. In this work we present a model to calibrate the 137Cs data in order to quantify sedimentation rates. To test the model, 137Cs profiles of stable and aggrading siteswere collected at slopes on semiarid and temperate areas in the Central Ebro basin, Spain. The model reproduces the aggrading 137Cs profiles quite closely to the measured inventories, therefore rates of aggradation can be calculated by this model that can be easily applied and do not require parameters difficult to obtain.
