Barrier material having low gas permeability
1989
PURPOSE: To provide the subject barrier material suitable for wrapping material including a reaction product between an non-gelling amine functional polymer resin and a polyepoxide and a polyoxalate, which is excellent in gas barrier performance for oxygen, carbon dioxide. CONSTITUTION: An intended material comprises (A) a non-gelling amine functional polymer resin obtained by reacting (i) a polyamine having two or less primary amino groups per one molecule and (ii) polyepoxide with each other at the mol ratio of 1.4:1-0.85:1 and (B) a thermoplastic polymer barrier material containing a reaction product of a polyepoxide and a polyoxalate, and further includes (C) 4wt.% amine nitrogen, taking the total weight of the above polymer barrier material as reference, wherein at 23°C and at the relative humidity of 0%, the oxygen permeability is lower than 3m1-min./100in 2 -day-atmospheric pressure and the carbon dioxide permeability is lower than 15ml-min./100in 2 -day- atmospheric pressure.
