The present invention discloses a single-point fixed electronic police system automatic time correcting method. An electronic police system comprises a machine case and a control host arranged inside the machine case. The method is characterized in that a GPS external antenna is attached to a machine box or a stand post of the single-point fixed electronic police system and is connected with GPS time synchronization equipment through a signal line, the GPS time synchronization equipment is connected with the control host through a standard USB interface, and the control host reads universal time coordinated (UTC) date and time data provided by the GPS time synchronization equipment and adjusts system time of the control host, and time calibration is carried out by candid video cameras according to the system time of the control host. The method is advantageous in that system time calibration of the single-point fixed electronic police system is realized, and dispute, caused by large clock deviation, in law enforcement bases and law enforcement processes are avoided.
