Disciplined Ophthalmologists Excluded From Federally Funded Medical Programs

Abstract The vast majority of ophthalmologists excluded from federally funded medical programs were male and older than 50. Ophthalmologists with international medical degrees were also overrepresented. The most common infraction resulting in exclusion was financial misconduct.
