Research on Evaluation Indicators System for Electricity Market in China

The evaluation indicators system for electricity market is a powerful tool for market analysis. This study presents an evaluation indicators system for electricity market in China's new round of reform, which combining the development characteristics of China's power industry and the present situation of electricity market reform. The evaluation system is divided into four evaluation dimensions: power supply and demand, market power, market transaction, and market risk, respectively. Each dimension contains several second grade indicators. Example calculation is carried out to demonstrate the applicability and quantification of the proposed evaluation system.
