About a possible 3.52 GeV/c2 very narrow baryon resonance

1992
Abstract An analysis of 16 GeV/ c Π − p interactions shows a peak in the mass of the pK + K 0 ΠΠ system, at M R =3520±3 MeV/ c 2 with Γ R =7 +20 −7 MeV/ c 2 indicating the possibility of a baryonic resonance with zero apparent strangeness decaying by a cascade involving the K ∗− resonance. The narrowness of the peak and the decay mode indicate the existence of a strong interaction decay.
