2005
The author of this article is a product of IIT, Delhi, with Master’s Degree in computer science. He has joined government service and is now a senior officer of National Informatics Centre (NIC), the computer technology and informatics wing of the Government of India. He is at present the technical director and officer in-charge of training posted at Guwahati. Interestingly, he is also a keen student of the life and teachings of Mahatma Gandhi as this article reveals. His understanding of Gandhi is his own and he has made a bold attempt to visualise how Gandhiji would have reacted to the development of Communication and Information Technology (CIT) had he been alive. He has chosen the form of an imaginary dialogue to share his understanding of Gandhi’s mind. — Editor
