PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an α-glucosidase inhibitor not limited by a means for delivering a raw material or a processing shape, being simply digestible and excellent in safety and effectiveness or foods and beverages or feed containing the α-glucosidase inhibitor. SOLUTION: The α-glucosidase inhibitor comprises an extract of Quercus salicina Blume as an active ingredient. The foods and beverages or feed comprises the α-glucosidase.
