Design and implementation of pulsed output interleaved flyback converter with lossless snubber and current mode control

2017
The Electronic Power Controller (EPC) requires high power pulses for the transmission of data with high precision in communication fields. In order to achieve this requirement, Interleaved flyback design is considered which has the added advantage of reduction in source power requirement by half and due to high frequency operation of the switches of the converter. The voltage across the converter is controlled using Lossless snubber topology and thereby increasing the overall efficiency of the EPC greater than 80% and voltage stress across the MOSFET is less than 180V. In this work, design and implementation of the Lossless snubber and Current slope compensation are adopted in EPC to generate high precision 2.5kHz, 28V to drive 2.5A load with 80% efficiency.
