AN EASY WAY OF CALCULATING THE COMPOSITION OF A TWO-COMPONENT SYSTEM FROM TWO-CHANNEL SPECTROMETRY

1959
Abstract When determining the individual activities or concentrations of two substances in a mixture from their spectral curves analysed by two spectral bands the calculations can be much simplified if the quotients of the values observed in the two channels are first calculated. A way of using a simple electric analog for computing the constituents in the two component system from the spectrometric data is presented.
