Formaldehyde emissions generated immediately after the film press application may be troublesome. However, it can be shown that the use of ®Madurit VMW3117 makes it possible to cope with the demand for minimized formaldehyde emissions and good crosslinking of the coating in order to achieve a high quality paper.
