The invention discloses a catalyst slurry and a method for preparing the catalyst slurry and a membrane electrode assembly, wherein the catalyst slurry comprises: a catalyst which is at least one of Pt/C, Pt and Pt-M/C, wherein M is one or two selected from Co, Mo, W, Ru and Pd; a proton exchange resin; an organic solvent; and a thickening agent, wherein the viscosity of the catalyst slurry is more than 50 mpa/s. The catalyst slurry provided by the invention can be used for effectively preparing the membrane electrode assembly.
