The relationship of recent and retrospective food acceptance ratings

1990
Abstract This large-scale (N = 472), 11-day field test of acceptability of three military rations had a dual purpose: (1) to collect acceptability data at intervals during the test and (2) to determine if data collected retrospectively (24 h post test) adequately indicate ration acceptability. Regression analyses were conducted to determine how well the retrospective ratings predicted the field ratings. Findings showed high R 2 values and strong linear relationships.
