The present invention discloses a self-compensating reactive power control method and a wind and solar power generation systems, the proposed method is a method to take an average reactive power signal, using wind and solar power plants of large coordination number of photovoltaic power generation unit is active and reactive power control of wind the power generation unit to output power quality to be resolved in the wind box transformer high voltage side, the photovoltaic power generation unit no effect on the active entire plant power adjusted by the photovoltaic array complementary reactive evenly distributed to each cell photovoltaic system, the entire power generation system rational use of each device, hybrid systems to achieve self-compensation of reactive power, to achieve maximum efficiency in the device life cycle; the system makes full use of both characteristics of energy of each, from the perspective of the entire power generation system to the rational use of each device in the system, within the device reaches the life cycle to maximize efficiency, while eliminating the need for reactive power compensation means exclusive installation, reducing initial investment, increase equipment utilization.
