BACkgROUND Malignancies arising at the nose and paranasal sinuses are an uncommon health disorder. They have been associated to some risk factors such as gender and age. The nose and paranasal sinuses are so close to vital structures that life could easily be involved, compromising patients’ life. OBJECTIVE To review most common histological features of nose and/or paranasal sinuses malignancies; gender and age frequencies, kind of treatment and cervical metastasis occurrence. MATERIAL AND METHOD We reviewed the files of patients diagnosed as having a malignancy of the nose and/or paranasal sinuses, looking for the histological features, gender, age, cervical metastasis and kind of treatment during a 10 years period.
