Effect of Salt and Abscisic Acid on in vivo Activity of Nitrate Reductase in Seedlings of Phaseolus aconitifolius

1975
Summary Both sodium chloride as well as abscisic acid (ABA) promoted the in vivo activity of nitrate reductase (NAR) in cotyledons and leaves of 4 days old Phaseolus aconitifolius seedlings. The effect of salt was found to be much more pronounced than that of ABA.
