Disclosed is an ultrasound diagnosis device provided with: an ultrasound probe that transmits and receives ultrasonic waves to and from a subject; a phase-rectification/addition means that generates RF signal frame data for a tomography area of the subject on the basis of a reflected echo signal measured by the ultrasound probe; a displacement measurement means that, on the basis of a pair of RF signal frame data that were acquired at different times, measures the displacement of tissue in the tomography area and generates displacement frame data; an elasticity information computation means that, on the basis of the generated displacement frame data, computes elasticity information representing the hardness or softness of tissue in the tomography area and generates elasticity frame data; an elasticity image composition means that generates an elasticity image on the basis of the elasticity frame data; an image display device that displays the elasticity image; and a memory in which the elasticity image is stored.
