Determination of dyclonine hydrochloride content in Qidaojiao by RP-HPLC method

Objective:To establish a RP-HPLC method for determining content of dyclonine hydrochloride in Qidaojiao.Methods:The determination was performed on a Shmadzu-C18 column(250 mm×4.6 mm,5 μm) with the mobile phase consisting of acetonitrile and 0.005 mol/L potassium dihydrogen phosphate(42∶58,adjusted pH value to 3.0 with phosphoric acid).The detection wavelength was 282 nm,the column temperature was room temperature,the flow rate was 1.0 ml/min and the volume of sample injection was 20 μl.Results:The standard curve was linear within the range of 1.002-30.06 μg/ml for dyclonine hydrochloride(r=0.999 8,n=3).The average recovery rates of low,middle and high concentrations were(98.65±2.06)%,(97.73±0.47)% and(98.04±0.67)%,respectively.Conclusion:The method is simple,accurate and selective;it can be used for determining the content of dyclonine hydrochloride in Qidaojiao.
