Practice and effect of the application of information technology in the pediatric medical alliance to build a nursing homogenization platform

Objective To explore the practice and effects of applying information technology in the construction of nursing homogenization platform in the pediatric medical alliance. Methods From May 2016 to May 2018, the nursing homogenization platform in the pediatric medical alliance of Huaihai Economic Zone was constructed by applying information technology and the member hospitals were trained both on-line and off-line. By convenience sampling, 6 pediatric wards of county hospitals and 120 parents of sick children were selected for nursing quality inspection and satisfaction survey of discharged parents, the differences before and after intervention were summarized and analyzed. Results In the construction of nursing homogenization platform in pediatric medical alliance of Huaihai Economic Zone, the scores of ward management quality, graded nursing quality, nursing safety quality, first aid drug quality, high quality nursing service quality, infection management quality, critical patients nursing quality, perioperative nursing quality, basic nursing quality and parents' satisfaction of discharged children were higher than those before the establishment of information platform with statistical difference (P 0.05) . Conclusions The application of information technology in the construction of pediatric nursing homogenization platform can effectively integrate the pediatric medical care resources, improve the overall allocation efficiency and utilization efficiency of nursing resources, enhance the grass-roots medical service capacity, and promote the construction of hierarchical diagnosis and treatment system.
