Diferentes quantidades de ração pré-inicial para aves

2020
The experiment aimed to evaluate the performance, relative weight of the organs of the gastrointestinal tract and morphometry of the jejunum of broilers at 21 days, fed with different amounts of pre-starter diet. 576 broiler chick were assigned in a completely randomized experimental design to four treatments, which consisted of providing different amounts of pre-starter diet (100, 200, 300 and 400 grams), and six replications and 24 birds per experimental unit. At the end of the consumption of the respective quantities of feed the birds in each experimental unit began to receive a ration based on corn and soybean meal, until the 21 days of age. The results were submitted to analysis of variance and polynomial regression to the 5% level of probability. The feed conversion rate linearly increased (P < 0.05) with increasing the quantity of pre-starter ration. The supply of 100 grams of pre-starter ration provided better feed conversion to 21 days of age, without interfering in the development of gastrointestinal tract of birds.
