Die opening, closing and locking mechanism and method

A die opening, closing and locking mechanism comprises a frame, a first template arranged on the frame, a second template arranged on one side of the first template, a guide tiebar, a first hydraulic actuator, a second hydraulic actuator, and a movable template arranged between the first template and the second template; two ends of the guide tiebar are connected with the first template and the second template, respectively; a die is arranged between the movable template and the first template; the movable template is guided by the guide tiebar penetrating therethrough to reciprocate along the guide tiebar, thereby meeting the requirements of die opening, die closing and die locking procedures of the die opening, closing and locking mechanism; the die opening, closing and locking mechanism further comprises a support arranged on one side of the movable template and a barrier matched with the support. The barrier of the die opening, closing and locking mechanism may be arranged on or removed from one side of the support according to the requirements of die opening and closing and die locking; by using the support arranged on one side of the movable template, the travel of the second hydraulic actuator is greatly shortened, and the oil charge quantity is reduced, leading to low energy consumption during die locking.
