Fuel cell system and method for operating the same at low temperature

PURPOSE: A fuel cell system and a low temperature operation method are provided to initiate a fuel cell at ultralow temperature by heating up the fuel cell and peripherals with the use of heat from a semiconductor device. CONSTITUTION: A fuel cell system includes a fuel cell (10), peripherals and one or more heating modules. The fuel cell uses fuel to produce electricity. The peripherals operate the fuel cell to supply electricity produced in the fuel cell. The one or more heating modules use heat from a semiconductor device attached at least one of the fuel cell and theperipherals to heat one or more devices.
