Comunidades rurales, subsistencia y cadena láctea popular en Colombia

Rural communities and the Colombian countryside are fundamental pillars for the development of the country. However, policies and regulations are required that consult with their modes of production and relationship with the rural environment so that they can improve their living conditions and satisfy their basic needs. This research article describes the protection framework for rural communities and the popular dairy chain as a way of subsistence in the countryside. Based on the review of specialized literature, jurisprudence and regulations, the concept of rural community and the jurisprudential development of the Constitutional Court on the protection of subsistence of rural families in Colombia is described. It is concluded that a normative framework is important that allows the dignified life of the inhabitants of the Colombian countryside, from the preservation of their particular modes of agricultural production.
