The Song Dynasty was the peak period of ancient Chinese family precepts.The precepts were flexibly and wide in content.The authors educated posterity to be filial towards eldership,to be friendly towards relatives,to operate family business and to be diligent in their knowledge.In addition,the authors took a variety of forms to educate posterity the doctrines of official,often combining with their own experience gained from the officialdom,so that they could better exercise their functions and perform their duties.
