Analysis of the Treatment and Reason of the Settlement in A Shield Arrival

This paper puts forward the designing scheme of reinforcement on the basis of a shield tunnel project in Shanghai when a shield arrives.The emergency measures are raised according to the shield propulsion and the monitoring situation and at the same time this paper analyses the reason of settlement.Finally it puts forward a suggestion about the consolidation of shield arrival in sandy soil area and provides some reference for future relevant engineering.
