Тhe course and approach to the treatment of pelvic organs disorders in patients with multiple sclerosis in the comorbidity

We studied the prevalence and characteristics of the disorders of the pelvic organs (DPO) in patients with multiple sclerosis (MS) in the aspect of comorbidity. The study involved 216 MS patients with different forms of course. It was found that the average prevalence DPO in the study group was 86.6%. The most closely DPO MS patients correlated with disease duration, level of disability (EDSS), female gender, level of fatigue and quality of life indicators. In the group of MS patients with comorbid pathology holds a significant prevalence of symptoms DPO and combined forms DPO. It was found that the use of acupuncture techniques in MS patients allows more effectively treat the symptoms DPO.
