Moldflow-based analysis on the warpage of thin walled plastic part

The finite element method based on warping deformation theory was used to research the effects of cooling temperature,shrinkage ratio and molecular orientation on the warpage of thin walled plastic parts.The deformation degree of a plastic copier casing in X,Y and Z directions during the forming process was studied using CAE analysis steps;And then some corresponding measures were put forward.The study shows that technical parameters influence the warpage to some extents.Optimized technological combination can minimize the warpage,thus improve the mould structure and product quality.
