Split television and control box applied to split television

A split television comprises a display device and a control box which are separated mutually. The control box comprises a television tuner and a plurality of video input interfaces, wherein the video input interfaces can receive television signals and video files and audio and video data different in formats by the aid of different transmission modes. The television signals, the video files and audio and video signals are converted into image data and audio data according with the preset signal transmission standards, the video signals are transmitted to the display device via a data transmission line, and the audio data are converted into sound signals via an audio processing unit and a loudspeaker. Since the display device and the control box of the split television are separably designed, the display device comprises a display panel, a necessary driving circuit and an image processing chip, and the rest, a power source module, a data processing module and the loudspeaker are arranged in the control box, and the thickness of the display device can be reduced maximally. The invention further provides the control box applied to the split television.
