Dynamic Ultrasound Evaluation of Tumor Thrombus in the Inferior Vena Cava

The ultrasound findings in five cases of tumor thrombosis of the inferior vena cava associated with renal carcinoma are presented. The advantages of dynamic ultrasound are discussed and the method is recommended as first choice in the evaluation of these patients.
