Effects of interventions on control of nosocomial infections in operating rooms

OBJECTIVE To analyze the effects of the interventions on the control of nosocomial infections so as to put forward the control measures and improve the management level.METHODS The surgical patients who enrolled the hospital from Feb to Apr 2011 treated with the conventional management mode were chosen as the control group,and the surgical patients who enrolled the hospital from May to Jul 2011 treated with the invention management mode were set as the observation group.The operating room and the effects of management of related links were statistically analyzed.RESULTS The incidence rate of nosocomial infections was 3.07% in the observation group and 9.65% in the control group,the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P0.05).CONCLUSION The operating room is a department at high risk of the nosocomial infections as well as a key department for the prevention and control of the nosocomial infections,and the incidence of the nosocomial infections can be reduced through the effective control interventions.
