Metachronous Epstein-Barr virus-related smooth muscle tumors in a child after heart transplantation: case report and review of the literature.

Abstract Soft tissue tumors are uncommon manifestations of Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) infection in patients who have had transplants. The authors report 2 metachronous EBV-containing smooth muscle tumors in a child who had a heart transplant, and review the literature on posttransplant soft tissue tumors.
