COMPLEX CONSTRUCTION TECHNOLOGIES OF STRUCTURE ENGINEERING OF NEW CAPITAL MUSEUM

2006
The new building of the Capital Museum is a composite structure system composed of cast-in-situ RC shear wall, transfer steel structure and steel structure, while the subject exhibition building, which is 56.8 m high,is an oblique cast-in-place RC structure, inclined to the north along the major axis at slope of 10:3 from the foundation slab,16.98 m inclined to the north in horizontal;and the steel roof is 168 m long in east-west direction,89 m wide in north-south direction, with the north-south main span of 56 m.The total steel consumption is about 800 t,60 kg per square meter.A serial of specific construction technologies and measures were taken in the construction that assured the smooth construction of the structure works.
