To develop a new product, we often do not have enough information on preferred traits and their right combination. This is also the case in the fruits of our apple varieties. Therefore, we set our goals to reveal the preference of five traits and the general impression of fruits of apple varieties produced by applying organic technology. To do so, we have them evaluated by the traits such as taste, skin, colour, flesh consistency, and size. The subjects of the examination were fruits of nine apple varieties coming from organic production which were stored for 60-90 days under suitable circumstances before examination. Furthermore, we examined the relation between the traits and the general impression.
